“Empowering young women to pursue higher education, encourage community involvement, embrace a healthy lifestyle, and take pride in their heritage.”
The Hermanitas program provides young girls ages 11-18 to participate in leadership, educational, cultural and community activities in the company of other peers and positive role models called “Madrinas”.
The goal of the program is to ensure that each participant is exposed to different activities in which they can experience success through teamwork and activities that will broaden their scope and allow them to dream about their future.
The Hermanitas program will meet one or two Saturdays a month. The program participants are also encouraged and invited to participate in the MANA de Topeka membership meetings as this is a MANA de Topeka program. Parental involvement is highly encouraged!
